Throughout his many years of experience as an artist, producer, composer and musician, Lasse has demonstrated an effortless ability of working excellently in time-sensitive and high pressured environments across these multiple occupations, while actively keeping up with the growth and changes of an ever evolving industry. Amongst his broad industry experience, he has also written, performed, recorded, mixed, marketed and engineered music. One of his greatest skills is his ability to be able to connect and communicate with varied audiences, on a spectrum of levels.
He have been a multi instrumentalist from an early age, played keys and drums professionally and have experience in a wide variety of ranges like Chill-Out, Jazz, R&B, D&B, Deep House, House, Techno, Pop, Electronica, Indie, Advertisement, TV Music and Film Scores.
He is proficient in Logic X and Ableton Live, as well as working with various other professional music softwares. Other skills include strong tracking, editing, troubleshooting, vocal production and music direction. As a professional, he would define himself as a reliable, resourceful and creative artist who is committed to music in many different ways.
Recent productions and compositions.
He recently composed, produced and mixed the music, for the feature documentary film, “The Last Shaman” Directed by Raz Degan (Peace Productions), Presented by Leonardo DiCaprio (Appian Way Productions) Produced by Nadav Schirman and Ariel Wromen, with Executive Production by John Battsek, Luca Argentero and Giancarlo Canavesio. Collectively, these folks have been nominated for countless awards and even more notably, pioneered an Academy Award-winning film. Abramorama is an independent film distributor and industry leader, spearheading some of the most successful documentary films of the past decade, including The Beatles, Eight Days a Week and Exit Through the Gift Shop. The film is currently showing in US cinemas and along with the film’s musical soundtrack, will be released on Netflix later this year.
He has produced and co-written for the Yoav‘s, an Electronica/singer/songwriter/guitarist from South Africa, forethcoming Album. Yoav‘s music features Lasse’s vocals and accompaniment by an acoustic guitar, which he uses to create electronica-style beats with his hands. Previous releases “Club Thing” and “Beautiful Lie” had huge success and charting in countries around Europe. His song “Adore Adore” was also featured in “Redwood”, an episode of The Mentalist. He also had a version of his cover song of “Where Is My Mind?” featured in the 2011 film Sucker Punch, which starred actress and singer Emily Browning. The song was subsequently included on the soundtrack. Yoav has also been featured as a “Single of the Week” artist on iTunes Canada. He also achieved a No.1 song in Denmark and Russia , where he also received a special RAMP award (Rock Alternative Music Prize) in recognition of his achievements.
Lasse is currently, composing, producing and mixing music for the inovating, all human body senses concept, BeBox, an inovative audio visual space offering sound therapy music, healing frequencies, visuals and guided meditations. BeBox, founded and developed by Chris Connors, is a local multimedia space designed to guide and inspire you to access the power and beauty of the present moment. The visionary space will offer unique mind/body meditation classes that are designed for daily practice and long term vitality.
Additionally, Lasse has composed music for the Golden Globe winning TV show CSI, and a film score for the award winning movie “Ma Salama Jamil” Göteborg Film Festival 2008 – Church of Sweden Film Award and FIPRESCI Prize, Rotterdam International Film Festival 2008 – Tiger Award, Warsaw International Film Festival – Competition 1-2 Award
